Statement by Prime Minister Robert Golob on the adoption of new amendments to the Health Services Act
SLOVENIA, April 2 - After almost a year of coordination, the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia has adopted the new amendments to the Health Services Act. This Act clearly separates public and private healthcare and puts an end to harmful dual practices that have been weakening the public healthcare system for decades.
Our goal is clear: a more accessible, transparent and higher-quality public healthcare where the patient comes first. We are strengthening a system that does not serve the profit of individuals but the health of all. This is the path we committed to and we will continue on it."
